Una fantastica avventura!
Dal 21 giugno al 4 luglio 2025, il Brixia Summer Adventure Camp ha saputo incarnare al meglio lo spirito di amicizia internazionale e scoperta che anima da sempre il programma Rotary Youth Exchange.
Organizzato da 11 Club Rotary del Gruppo Cidneo di Brescia, il camp ha accolto 15 ragazzi provenienti da tutto il mondo, regalando loro un’esperienza indimenticabile tra natura, cultura e avventura.
Il programma ha spaziato tra attività outdoor e momenti di scoperta del territorio: dal trekking sulle spettacolari vette dell’Adamello alla visita affascinante della miniera Tassara in Valtrompia, dall’avventura nel sottosuolo di Brescia con i ragazzi di Brescia Underground al Parco delle Fucine di Casto, senza dimenticare l’adrenalina delle vie ferrate ad Arco e la giornata di surf sul Lago di Garda, tra sole e vento e molto, molto altro.
Ogni tappa ha offerto ai partecipanti l’opportunità di fare squadra, conoscersi e condividere culture e lingue diverse, in un clima di amicizia che resterà impresso nei loro ricordi per sempre.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutti i ragazzi che hanno preso parte a questa avventura, perché hanno saputo portare con sé uno spirito di avventura secondo solo alla voglia di fare gruppo e squadra, creando legami autentici e un’atmosfera di entusiasmo contagioso.
A chiudere in bellezza questa esperienza, una grande festa di saluto presso l’Hangar 68 di Brescia, dove ragazzi dei club Interact e Rotex, volontari e famiglie hanno celebrato insieme la conclusione di due settimane ricca di emozioni, sorrisi e nuove amicizie internazionali.
Un grazie di cuore anche a tutti i rotariani, alle famiglie ospitanti, agli accompagnatori, alle guide che hanno reso possibile questo straordinario viaggio di crescita e scoperta.
Costruire la pace, un giovane alla volta non è solo uno slogan, ma una realtà che continua a prendere forma, anno dopo anno, grazie all’impegno del Rotary international.

Changed my life
I just did, I would like you all to know that the experience of going to this camp changed my perspective, and I will remember for the rest of my life, before I didnt like sports that much, after this trip I will do more trekking, because I loved it, the view of the places we visited were something Iv never seen before, thank you very much for giving me me this oportunity, I will try to visit Brescia again with my family
Review of brixia summer camp
Spend more time at Lago di Garda or any other lakes in the region. When it’s really warm it’s Soo good to cool dawn in the lakes. When we stayed in the tents in arco. Several of us went in to the river every day but it was really rocky and not that deep it would be better to stay next to a real lake. Start the activities and breakfast a little later some of the days not for all of them. For me it’s really difficult to get good sleep when there is no ac and it’s so warm.

Loved this camp because of an amazing group that has been, variety of activities and incredible supervisors!
It’s a great experience
This is my first time in Europe, all the Rotarian are so nice and friendly, although the climbing part is quite difficult for me, but I still did it.Its a wonderful experience.
Review
I loved this camp. My favorite activity was windsurfing. The night we spent in the mountain lodge and the night we slept under the stars in sleeping bags were just unforgettable, because the nature surrounding us was breathtaking. Also, I was glad that in the second week we had time to explore the city. The only activity that wasn’t really popular was Brescia underground – I personally would change that for another water sport because they are refreshing on the hot days. But all in all, I think the program is well-constructed and very fun. I’m so thankful for being able to participate in the camp.
Two weeks of unforgettable adventures
The camp was filled with exiting activities that some of us have never tried before which made these two weeks especially memorable.
Great organisation, great people and amazing activities!
My personal favourite one was the hike in Adamello and I also very much enjoyed the canyoning and bike tour in Ledro Valley.
Best experience with the best people
The camp was soooooo much fun, all the activities and a bit difficult experiences like hiking under the hottest of hot sun, making the group so close to eachother. All the activities were exciting and fun and all the acommondations were amazing! The Rotary staff was so chill and nice, could not have wished for better. Grazie mille!!
Amazing experience
Enjoyed everything super much, no problems encountered, everything went smoothly. If I was asked, I’d add an additional day in the mountains, but that’s not everyone’s beer. I liked the mix of activities/settings a lot. And our host family was incredible! Big thank you!
It really was a great experience
I thought all aspects of the camp were great. The hotels and hostels were over my expectation and it was really cool getting to sleep outside one night. The activities were also really varied and challenging, but not too difficult. I liked the canyoning the most and I also think Brescia underground was a nice, different experience.
